I’ve been extremely absent from this blog lately for many reasons. The main one is I’ve found that there is not much to say, and even less time to say it in. The deployment is going smoothly, we have our routine, no big surprises have come up, and we are almost 1/3 done. Jacob is keeping me very busy and the days seem to fly by faster than I thought they would. I had prepared a list of things to do when I am bored, but I don’t even have time to be bored it seems. Baby #2 is also growing quickly and we are almost to 19 weeks. I should find out very soon what color to paint our 3rd bedroom. Of course, I’ve already chosen a neutral theme, so it doesn’t really matter either way.
We just got home from visiting family in California for Thanksgiving. The visit was nice, the traveling part was not. It’s hard to hold Jacob for more than a few minutes, and asking him to share lap space with his brother/sister is even harder. We will not be doing that again.
In school news, I’m down to my last 2 classes for my MAED in Early Childhood Education! I can’t wait to be done, because the paper writing is DRAINING. Plus I wouldn’t be able to keep up once there are two little ones in the house, so I need to finish ASAP!
I’ve also been putting a lot of time into my photography, which I really enjoy. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I can do some upgrading soon too. I have serious camera envy
